Recently, the industry has seen an influx of inventive water fitness tools. As more studies have gone mainstream about the benefits of water exercise, manufacturers are producing equipment to attract younger exercisers and special populations, such as those with Parkinson’s disease.

Among these tools is Acquapole, by Indigo Aquatics. Designed for a variety of water exercises, the pole measures approximately 7-feet tall with a base that anchors to any type of pool using suction caps. Equipment add-ons for the pole include the boxing bag, T-traction and elastic pole.

Watch the video below to see Acquapole in action at the Rose Bowl Aquatics Center in Pasadena, Calif., as a group of aquatics instructors from across the United States gain their certification to teach using the product.
