The Fitting Saver from Anderson Manufacturing Inc. was created to provide a quick, long-term, cost-effective fix to the problem of a leaking return fitting. No digging down through a deck to the return is required to use the Fitting Saver. Instead, the device slides into a broken fitting and creates a seal in the 1.5-inch threads of the fitting and the 1.5-inch pipe beyond the break. A .75-inch open pipe extends through the seals, allowing water to pass through. It was designed to install in minutes.
