The waterpark attraction and products maker WhiteWater has entered an exclusive distribution agreement for the global waterpark market with safety flooring products manufacturer Life Floor.
Based in Minneapolis, Life Floor makes a patented, waterproof foam-rubber flooring meant to reduce slips and falls, and to minimize their damage when they do occur. Its client list includes Carnival Cruise Line, LEGOLAND, Cedar Fair and Great Wolfe Lodge.
Life Floor CEO, Jonathan Keller said the agreement provides his company access to a wider market, and that the firms make a good fit. "Both companies are single-minded about delivering fun safely..." he said.
WhiteWater, based in the Vancouver-area city of Richmond, British Columbia, Canada, specializes in waterslides, multi-level water-play structures, wave-generating equipment, stationary surfing machines, harnessed attractions, interactive play and water rides.
