Forget snow. Think water. That’s what Richard D. Hunter did at ProSlide Technology, the waterpark ride design firm that he founded in 1986.
By drawing on his alpine skiing background, Hunter created thrilling experiences for water slide users and since then, Canada-based ProSlide has grown to be a top design firm known for its innovative products. Among its most notable is the Tornado, an enclosed slide that brings riders through drops and a giant funnel.
ProSlide’s products can be found around the globe, from the Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg, Va., to the Equarius at Sentosa in Singapore.
