31-mile Long Floating Walkway Debuts in China

Stretching twice as long as Manhattan, and new floating walkway in China is the centerpiece of an effort to boost tourism in the Guizhou Province.

On New Years Day, a new attraction opened on the Hongshui River in China's Guizhou Province. Stretching 31 miles, or twice as long as the city of Manhattan, and covering 54,000 sq m, it is hoped that the attraction will bring more tourists to the region during the winter. So far, it appears to be working, with tens of thousands already flocking to the walkway. Check out this video from CCTV, featuring some of the highlights from the January 1, 2017, opening ceremony.
