The largest waterpark in India now is open. On May 18, Wet N Joy Waterpark in Lonavala, India, hosted an event with 2,000 guests to mark the grand debut of the facility.

The waterpark also is celebrating other firsts with the opening of Wet N Joy Waterpark. Supplied by WhiteWater West, the facility's 60,000 foot wave pool is the largest in India. At the center of the dual wave pool is an entertainment stage and 12,000 square feet of beach space. The region also now has its first uphill water coaster, Master Blaster by WhiteWater West.

"I am honored to be able to contribute to this landmark project for India," said Pradeep Sharma, Vvice president of business development for India, WhiteWater. "This high-quality waterpark will bring years of entertainment to deserving families, making memories that will last generations.”

Other attractions supplied by WhiteWater include multiple waterslides such as the Rattler, and the 10,000 square foot, interactive, tiki-themed AquaPlay RainFortress. Check out the slideshow for more details on the rides that call Wet N Joy Waterpark home.
