VivoAquatics, a division of service firm VivoPools, has launched a smart technology platform for commercial pools. VivoPoint automatically sanitizes water using chemical feeders, while tracking and monitoring information in real time. Recorded information is sent to a cloud-based system for storage and analysis. Data is also reported as it happens using alarms and status reports. Properties and service providers can automate maintenance operations using records from VivoPoint.

This information can be used to reduce operating costs, said Willan Johnson, CEO of VivoAquatics, based in Monrovia, Calif.

Before its public release, the platform was tested at a number of resorts, hotels, multi-family housing facilities, fitness clubs, and waterparks.

“VivoPoint will automate many of the manual tasks as well as provide management with the analytical tools to make more informed decisions,” he said.

Because VivoPoint is technology-based, the company expects it to change over time. “The launch of VivoPoint is the culmination of testing and development in conjunction with numerous clients and partners," said Maxwell Koby, general manager of VivoAquatics. "The platform will continue to evolve as we partner with additional clients to solve their needs through expertise and automation.”

VivoAquatics was founded in 2015 when it branched off from VivoPools to specialize in delivering chemical automation, technology and brand standards solutions for waterparks, resorts and other high-level commercial accounts.
