The Omagh Leisure Complex has decided to stick with its controversial parent-to-child ratio rules in spite of consumer complaints. The facility requests that every child ages 0-3 must be supervised by an adult (a one-to-one ratio.) The rules further state that children ages 4-7 must also be accompanied by at least one adult, however, one adult can be responsible for more than one child in that age range. Children over the age of 7 do not require supervision.
Things began to heat up when families showed up to the facility with children who fell into both age categories, but only one adult to provide supervision. The families were subsequently turned away from the facility.
