Following the arrest of veteran chemistry teacher and swim coach David Tremblay, the West Haven, Conn., education board has voted 9-0 to rename the pool previously named in his honor.
Tremblay, who taught at the school for more than 35 years and coached the boys’ and girls’ swim teams, was arrested earlier this year. The pool will now be called the West Haven High School Pool.
