The Great Wolf Lodge located in Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountain region is centered around an 80,000-square-foot North Woods-themed indoor waterpark designed for families. Waterpark attractions include a water coaster, a lazy river, several water slides, a wave pool, zero-depth entry children’s activity pool, separate family and adult whirlpools, and the Fort Mackenzie interactive play structure.
New this year is the Double Barrel Drop, a six-story adventure that starts with a high-speed drop into a huge funnel, a 450-degree turn into a dark vortex tunnel and then a second funnel. The new attraction also includes lighting and special effects to enhance the rider experience.
Other amenities include the spa; kid spa; arcade; Race Zone, a designated zone to design, build and race remote-control cars on an indoor track; and MagiQuest, a live-action adventure game now featuring Compass Quest, a new layer where a high-tech compass leads players on an interactive wayfinding journey.
