Aquatic facilities looking to add attractions without major renovations have a new option through a partnership between Landmark Aquatic and Poolside Adventures.
The companies will bring Poolside Adventures’ AquaClimb®, AquaZip’N®, and AquaNinja® FLX attractions to facilities nationwide, combining the products with Landmark Aquatic’s experience in aquatic facility design, construction, renovation, and maintenance.
The attractions attach directly to existing pool decks and require no water hookups, special tools, or additional concrete and reinforcement. Poolside Adventures said the installation approach allows facilities to add attractions without major renovations.
The modular AquaClimb® walls allow operators to start with one section and expand as budgets permit. The AquaZip’N® requires four feet of water depth, can be installed in a few hours, and accommodates six riders per minute. Poolside Adventures describes the attraction as an alternative to diving boards.
“Some municipalities can’t afford a new water park or perhaps cannot renovate their pool this year,” said Cherie Moy, vice president of marketing and strategic partnerships for Poolside Adventures. “Our products are an easy answer: a big impact with a small footprint, adding an ‘active attraction’ that makes the pool more exciting.”
Moy said Landmark Aquatic’s nationwide presence, particularly in the homeowners association (HOA) market, will help expand the attractions’ reach. The partnership has already led to multiple installations in HOA communities.
“Together, we will help clients find the right fit for their space, their budget, and to add action and adventure to their pool experience,” Moy said.
Matt Cappello, vice president of design at Landmark Aquatic, said the company looks forward to working with Poolside Adventures to promote the products’ versatility, installation process, and entertainment value.
“We’re excited to collaborate with Poolside Adventure to promote the versatility, ease of installation, and entertainment value their products will bring to more pools across the country,” Cappello said.
