The Association of Aquatic Professionals has added another member to its management team.
Maria Andersen has been promoted to the position of operations manager, beginning this month. She has held positions in aquatics, parks and recreation, nonprofit associations, and school districts. Andersen has been with AOAP since 2012, beginning as the organization’s office assistant. She later was promoted to conference administrative assistant.
She holds a degree in Recreation Management from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
Before her tenure with AOAP, Andersen served with the Village of Ashwaubenon Park & Recreation Department as recreation manager, along with the School District of Ashwaubenon. She is president of the Ashwaubenon Swim Club.
