USA Swimming’s Open Water Commission has released new safety recommendations.
And, during a recent teleconference call with the media, Commission Chair Dick Pound voiced considerable frustration with FINA’s delay and lack of cooperation regarding the investigation into Fran Crippen’s death last year.
According to Pound, FINA has not been forthcoming with information and response has been fragmented.
