The new children’s area at the Wisconsin Dells Kalahari replaced an underutilized activity pool. It is unique in the fact that the pools, slides and lazy-river were all designed and constructed to be child-sized for a comfortable, entertaining and welcoming area for small children.
The slow lazy river is shallow and less wide to accommodate the tiniest of guests. The entire area is heavily custom-themed complementing the overall existing Kalahari Resort and brand.
The Kalahari Animals were inspired by the authentic African theme that is carried through the waterpark, resort, convention center, shops, restaurant, etc. The animals are positioned throughout the watering hole to delight children with spraying water and are made from a smooth fiberglass with a clear marine polyester gel coat.
