For the penultimate edition of the Summer Lifeguard Challenge, participants will be tasked with achieving perfect inline stabilization.
This will take three rescuers, and one victim on a spine board. Each rescuer will transition from the foot to the head of the victim two times. The trick here is to maintain contact with the victim the entire time without the ball rolling off of his or her midsection.
But the ball isn’t all that matters. Watch the video above to learn what else our tough-but-fair judge, Pete Dequincy, will be scoring participants on and to see footage of a near-perfect demonstration.
