In this final installment on team towing techniques, we’re looking at the logistics of a three-person rescue team.

As with the previous two exercises, you’ll want the victim face up, supported by the rescue tube with a good open airway. The difference here, obviously, is you’ll now have three guards assisting in the extrication.

The primary and secondary lifeguards should be mirroring each other with their hold on the victim, while the third lifeguard supports the victim at the knees.
